The methodologies, principles and practices of the British Cricket Academy programs have been devised drawing on a culmination of Mr Arif’s professional career as both a player and coach and his strong understanding of the concepts fundamental to physical education, cricket coaching and business administration.
To date, He has amassed extensive professional experience as a player with Glamorgan CCC, Wales, Nelson (New Zealand) and an array of clubs in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
Throughout his playing career, Mr Arif’s quest for knowledge led him to enhance his own practical experience at the elite level by seizing the opportunity to develop close working relationships with a host of international cricket players in order to study, document and understand the methods, tactics and strategies they employed to become successful.
His elite level cricket experience is complemented by an ECB (England Cricket Board) Level 1 and 2 coaching badge, child protection certification, first aid, CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) checked, certified health and food nutrionist, and a qualified personal trainer.
Undoubtedly the biggest influence of His life, which blossomed him into a player and a coach, was his beloved late father Mohammed Arif. He was a true inspiration and leader. His love and passion for the game made the inevitable possible and made dreams a reality.
